My Dad suggested i add on the fact i did a paper round for 1.5 years and thinking about it, it does show dedication and motivation etc. as i was only 15-16 years old.

So how could i describe it?

I have already named it as 'News Delivery Assistant (September 2003 - January 2005)'. :o

A wild statement...

My first role taught me about time management and how to get the job completed in a sufficient time before i went to school in the mornings. When i first arrived in the mornings, i would go through my route and ensure all the papers were present and correct before i delievered each paper.

Haha, 'News Delivery Assistant' - don't make them laugh to death.

I'd just stick 'Newspaper Deliverer'

I've never put that on my CV, the thought never crossed my mind really.

Back in the day I used to just stick 'Paperboy' on my CV. No point tarting it up because everybody knows what a paper round is :p

Thankfully I've got oodles of varied experienced to slap in its place now :)

If I saw a CV where someone had tried to big themselves up by inventing a fancy name for a paper round it'd go straight in the bin. It was a paper round, that's what it is, call it a paper round. At a push call yourself a Newspaper Delivery Boy.

Changed it, thanks.

Mm, hadn't crossed mine either...

I have:

1.5 years paperound,
3 weeks in the MoD
2.5 years at Tesco.

I'm 20 so not that bad. :)

Also noted but i want to avoid using 'boy' in the title. :)

I wouldnt have mentioned it if i had other work experience.

no one gives a crap about it

I disagree. It shows i could manage my time at an early age (Finishing before school) and willingness to go out in the big world and earn money - dedication and so on. I was only young! :p
