hi, im trying to play L.A Noir with my 6950 refrence card. but it says i dont have shader 3.0 , this makes me think that its only detecting my integrated graphics ... ? and i would like to know how to disable the onboard graphics. here's some spec:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: Z68A-D3-B3
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~4.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8176MB RAM
Page File: 1997MB used, 14350MB available
dx11
amd radeon hd 6900 series

ok i went into device manager and notice in display adapters that only my radeon 6950 is showing... which means L.A Noirse cud of only detected this card. Why would a 6950 not have shader 3.0 ?

i haven't heard of this process for a long time, people stopped mentioning it round the time people stopped mentioning hard drive jumper settings.

I'm guessing if a pcie graphics is slotted in then the integrated automatically gets disabled.

The 6950 has Shader 5.0, which means that either your card has a fault, or the most likely issue, has incorrect, non-existant or out of date drivers.

Try (re)installing the driver available here: Click Me
