How to enter Clio radio code!

Ok I've had a different stereo in my car for a week and have put the original Renault one back in and it's asking for a code.

No problem, I have the code, I enter all the numbers as they should but then I have no idea what I do to confirm/enter that code.

I don't have a manual for the radio itself either, anyone here help?

Single Slot Philips cd?

Tape + Multi changer, standard renault fit on an X reg 2000 so assume it's phillips (although the changer is alpine).

Shame, if it was the single slot unit i could help but the way mine inputs the code is unique to that unit i think (2004 model).

Just got back in and sorted it right away, when entering the numbers you have to press a button on the remote which I knew, had a fiddle and to confirm the code you have to hold this down for like 5 seconds.

Ahhh yeah that was us, I forgot you've got the blue 16v now.

Wasn't me driving though, other half took it out for a spin

Nope, for me it was the bottom button on the stalk, the disc change button

Or maybe the stalks are different, as mines just a tape player..

Did you have to ring up Renault for the code? I've just put the OEM one back in but need the code for it.

Nope as the code is in the handbook.
