I'm looking to book a series of flights this summer for work. But would like a way to view them clearly. Expedia is ok and Kayak gives me the hump, is there a site where I can type in my departure then destination, not necessarily have to enter any specific dates, then view a map would come up showing routes and dates/times.

I'm lucky that I can be a little flexible in flights, and finding out if it's best to fly on the fri/sat/sun/mon + the return leg too is currently an hours work of going back and forwards though Expedia methodically writing down each price/time/date.

I guess the same way Rightmove has updated to being able able to draw a 'box' around an area you're interested in renting etc.

Kayak dislike: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18255585&highlight=kayak

Kayak is bloody annoying, but i am yet to find a better site :( Would be interested if someone can find one which accurately portrays flight prices over a calendar too.

skyscanner.net might be able to help a bit, you dont have to be to specific with dates.
It can be a bit hit and miss though.

Skyscanner doesn't do itinerary or allow you to change class of flight - both a problem for the OP i would imagine.

Must be something better, Skyscanner has neat tricks, but when Kayak does this to you, it leaves little hope. Why doesn't it update it's matrix to reflect your chosen filters, that must be obvious really? Makes it near useless as a visual tool.
