How to find out if games are dead?

Is there any way of finding out how well some games are populated?

Quite fancy playing Killzone Mercenaries for the Vita, but wouldn't know if the online multiplayer for it would be rather dead.

Maybe dedicated forums for the game?

Other than that I don't think so. It'll only be stuff you read on other forums.

It's a Vita game, it'll definitely be dead.

Might risk it.
Vita is great IMO.
Use it more than the PS4

I wouldn't be so sure tbh, it's a good game. I played it a few months back and was able to find games. I just don't know what it's like now.

I'd risk it for the single player alone

Maybe look at getting a retail copy?

I've alway managed to get an online game straight away, oh and the Vita is great
