How to find out if your HDD supports NCQ?

How do you find out if your Hard Drive supports the NCQ function? And what is NCQ exactly?

I have a Hitachi Deskstar HDS723020BLA642 2TB 7200K SATA3 DRIVE. I am just setting my new system at the moment and have to select this in the UEFI setup part of the Asrock boot menu.

The drive does support NCQ.
