How to find out my girlfriends ring finger size...

Ive got it, Buy some Tunnock's tea cakes, then with the foil wrapper roll it round your finger and make a little champagne glass out of it (Ive always done this, don't know why, or if anyone else does) then ask her if she can make one. Then once the activity has been completed remove the model foil champagne glass, and take it to a jewelry shop. The opening of the foil glass should be the size of the finger, just be careful not to crush it.
 
I chose the ring and surprised her (her size had come up earlier in the relationship).

I have been complimented on my choice by everyone who has seen it. They seemed surprised we did not choose it together ;)
 
Depends on the ring, if you are having little diamonds set on the band I'd recommend having her proper ring size because those can be harder to resize however plain band should be easy enough.

Google Plastic Ring Gauge and you could try that, around £1 from the auction place and you could do that when she is sleeping.
 
Someone on here always mentions just buying the stone then getting the fitting down with her there so she can get the style she wants.
 
Spoke with a woman at work about this once (don't know why she was telling me tbh). Essentially she wears a fair few rings (so her BF had it easy).

All he did was take off a ring on the opposite hand (same ring finger as wedding) and put it onto his little finger. He did this whilst holding hands just sitting about, whatever.

He mentally noted the place on where her ring sat on his little finger and went into the jewelers and said "fits like this". Job done! Good luck!
 
Most decent Jewellers will be able to give you a free ring sizing gauge.

Then, take your missus out, get her royaly drunk, have a bit of sexytime, when she passes out, measure with ring sizer. Job done!
