Someone here posted a link to this guy on Youtube for some other plumbing reason. He's a highlight of my day now as such I've done all my own DIY plumbing.

A rad in one of the bedroom refused to heat up. I tried the stuff in these vids

The above didn't work so next

I did exactly what he showed in the 2nd vid.

Using the wife to hold the hose in a bucket I had tons of air shoot out from both ends. I had to top the system up between each flush.

Instant result. House get uber hot, fact too hot now.

So then I went ahead and balanced the system

From cold really can tell the difference now.

Just wanted too share my recent efforts at home

Probably me as I have posted his vids in a few threads now as I founbd them helpful myself. Isn't Youtube great? :D I have learned so much from watching how to vids on Youtube.

Think it was you, thanks

Youtube is amazing, learn loads and then helped mates out with it. Proper brownie points

Yeah I like a bit of youtube, the other day I learned I'd been driving in screws wrong all these years.

I'm not going to change my "grabbing the closest bit to hand" method but it was fascinating nonetheless.

I quite like that blokes videos, I found them very easy to follow.

They are informative enough to let you know what you are doing without flying blind.
They are basic enough to follow without being patronising.
The guy has enough character to be amusing and engaging without being a complete clown.

Good videos and will have a look through them all as Ive been having a few problems with my heating and ari in the rads.

Do you have a link to the video? Id like to know if I too have been screwing wrong all these years :p

He makes a daunting job funny, fun and rewarding. I've had him reply to comments/questions rapidly as well.

Fact I've just measured up for new rads as we are going over sized on it all and double convector as well.
