How to force a game to Window Mode

Hi all,

I have recently started to play older games like Gangsters: Organised Crime and wondered if there was a program or command that could force the game to run in Window mode.

I have tried adding "-w" and "-window" to the short cut like other games but to no joy. Of course I have checked the in game options too

Thanks in advance any help much appreciated!!

/edit I've also tried looking in the registry (just in case) and also that windscreen gaming forum for a WS window hack but gangsters must be too old heh.

its a long shot but some games i've tryed this in, i did by going into the config files and there is usually(not always) an entry there to change it to windowed, even when you cant select it through menus.
have a look through the games folders and seee if there are any config or settings files, if you find it open it up in word pad or something similar and search through for the appropriate entry.
