How to full screen game on Vista?

Hi,

kay, I used to be able to play 'old' games on my vista setup such as Age of Empires 2 etc at full screen. I have a wide screen @ 1680 x 1050 res, the game used to work filling the whole screen but now the older games just run in the center of the screen.

Any ideas?

What video card are you using? On my nvidia 8800 you can change the scaling options under the nvidia control panel under 'display' 'change flat panel scaling'. I'm sure there's a similar option in ATI CCC.

I'm using an 8800, and that did the trick mate! Thanks very much! I didn't know there was such an option
