Hey guys,
I just downloaded the Knoppix .ISO and created a LiveCD. Ive got an old PC and its an ideal test-bed to check out Linux on, so Im havin fun mucking about with Knoppix.
Then something caught my attention. When the LiveCD starts up and the desktop appears theres a female "computer voice" (Like on Star Trek Voyager!) and she says "Knoppix started" or something like that.
When shutting down she says "System shutting down"....it sounds wicked.

I wanna use those two sounds on my Windows PC
for startup and shutdown sounds heh. Hmmm...but how do I get at the actual sound files? Ive extracted the .ISO and had a look but...no luck.
Can ya'll help? Thanks!
