How to get Fleas out of your home?

I moved into a house that was severely infested with fleas, tried all of the usual methods, most of which have been posted, including industrial grade pesticide.

In the end it took taking all of the carpets out, getting the professionals in to fumigate the house, then relaying new carpets.

Ring the council they will come and fumigate it for you.

This is what I had to do. Years ago I moved into a house where they had had a cat in previously and it was infested with fleas. We phoned our landlord and he tried to sort it but they kept coming back so we ended up getting the council round for free. He drenched the place in poison and it sorted the problem!

But as mentioned above you will need to leave the house for 3-4 hours.

If you have a fish tank insure it is covered.

Ask them politely, but if that doesn't work then seek an eviction notice.
