Hi all,

i was activated today with infinity, ant trying to use my existing router netgear wndr3700,

can someone please share with me what settings are you currently using to get it connected to the bt infinity modem ?

i have tried the above so far but still cannot get it online,

connection type:PPPoE,
username: [email protected] ,
password: 1234, blank, or password ?
service name: empty ? anything else i have missed ??

everything else is on auto, i have set the router to factory settings and is still the same.

running on latest official firmware..

ps: router is fine on virgin cable dhcp connection. and tried my next doors neighbour linksys e4200 on pppoe, username: [email protected] ,password: 1234 and it connected fine...

thanks in advance,
jon

I use same login details, no problems might be worth looking to see if there is a firmware update for your router maybe there is a known issue with pppoe.

connection type:PPPoE,
username: [email protected] ,
password: password

P.S. I also cloned the original MAC address from the BT Homehub just incase they have any MAC based verification but I dont think they do.
