How to get out of my o2 contract early

Hi,

I have decided to go travelling for a while and would like to cancel my o2 contract - theres about 11 months left on my contract so i cant see them letting me go for free, or even cheaply - i have been with o2 for over 5 years though.

I have an unlimted bolt on for web usage, so I'm thinking that maybe if i just hammer by 3g connection with a constant download they might chuck me off / let me go as its hopefully cheaper for them?

Any ideas?

If you hammer it you will most likely just get hit by a "fair usage policy" and capped

Nothing that you can do from my experience. All of my charm and cunning couldn't break them down.

Wait while they change their terms and conditions to something that makes you worse off and then you might be able to get out of it. Otherwise you would have to pay it up.
