I moved in to my new place yesterday and I can't access things like Teamspeak or watch Twitch.tv streams which are two things I do every day. Is there a way to get around this?

Thanks :)

It's impossible - mainly because of the firewalls protecting the whole university. Unless they've got the power/option to unblock certain things for certain areas.

most of the places my mates have been to uni, they have bene able to get certain ports unblocked, but you have to state why gaming and comms was fine for everyone bar 1 (who got a dongle instead so all was good in the end.

I'm struggling to find the right person to ask to unblock things. But in the mean time I tried private tunnel as KIA suggested, that gave me a 122 ping with bad download speeds so it's better than nothing but I'm going to give ProXpn a try as well.

OpenVPN on port 443.

Not %100 sure what you mean by this, I presume I have to do something other than just connect?

Is the porXPN basic account worth having ?....im asking as im interested in using ...if its worth it
, I'm assuming its pretty slow
