how to get rid of a virus and how to find it

ok my facebook account is either hacked or a have a virus
i am usually really sensible so have no idea how this could happen to me

here is the type of thing it spams all my friends with:

"Happy Black Friday Shopping everyone =) Check out this article www,ArticleDesign,cn"

Its so ******* ANNOYING.

Does anybody have this virus/problem and resolved it?

Obviously i have run a virus check with kaspersky and deleted my cookies etc

Have you got something like superantispyware, or malware bytes?

If not get one or both of them and run them as well.

Not only the above but adding millions of useless apps like some people do isn't a great idea either, beware.

Ive always used Spybot, but these are good too.

Yeah, if your browser of choce is 50% toolbar at the top you may have found the problem

Also AVG 9 is free to use.

Check your startup applications in system config utility?

(Type msconfig in run)

1. login in uninstall and remove all subscriptions.
2. Log out and then login and change password, maybe change the pc password too?
3. logout, delete all cookies and internet temp folders.
4. run ccleaner
5. run malwarebytes (can't spell

)
6. if that fails, temp close account and contact facebook adamin
