Hi all, I need some advice. I installed Crysis last night and all plays fine, but where as before Windows XP would boot straight to desktop, now I get the welcome screen where you have to click the icon picture to log in to the XP desktop.

I am sure there is a way to disable the log-in welcome screen, and sure I have done it before, but it must be all the drink over the Xmas period but my mind have gone back and I can't see the option to do it, I can only see the tick box for standard login box. there is only 1 user showing (me), but noticed that I have a ASP.net limited profile there in the control panel/user, but not showing at the welcome screen.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Start > Run > Type control userpasswords2 > Press enter

Delete the asp.net account.

Take the tick out where it says "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer" Type your password and click ok and restart to test.
