Hey

I have been handed £15k to buy some land with, The land purchase wont be for a few months though.

So.. What can i do with this money to make it grow without any risk.
Are there are bank accounts with a high interest rate that i can plonk the money in for a few months? I would need to be able to pull it out entirely at any point if the land purchase is brought forward.

any advice will be great

1) Give it to me

2) I will put it on red

3) Magic happens

4) Profit

5) I keep a % for being the risk taker with your money

a few months.. low risk.. instant access.. high interest rate...

not going to happen. The best you can hope for is a standard (historically) poor savings account level of interest really

For a high interest rate you have to either sacrifice time / accessibility or risk, or preferably all of the above.

Yea seems your right.

Evan with a 2.5% ISA it seems i would only gain £70 odd in interest...

No point what so ever haha

Thanks all

Just thought I'd check something - is this land you're buying for 15k an investment? Did someone cold call you about it?

Its not no, Its some land my mother owns and i will be buying it from her with my father in laws money with the plan to build a house on it.

for a few months? don't bother, keep it in a standard savings account, not worth the hassle to try and make a small amount of money off it.
