How to have case fans?

I have a Zalman Z7 Case.

I have an exhaust fan, one fan on the front and 2 at the side.

I have never touched the Exhaust fan or the one on the front of the case but I have replaced the 2 side fans.

I'm wondering, do I want them blowing air into the PC or taking air out of the PC?

Usually yes, as a rule, the front & side fans are intakes.
rear and top fans are exhausts

I know this may sound silly, but I can I know for certain which side of the fan is intake and which is exhaust?

Just point them towards me and which ever way blows air to me, face the fan that way so that side of it is facing my mobo?

There will be two small arrows on the side of the fan, one showing rotation and the other shows direction of air flow.

The fan in the pic would be pushing air downwards.

I just figured it the way I said and felt which direction more air was coming from.

I lost the side panel from my Z7 so I've just got the fans visible on one side.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement?
