How to i securely erase a ssd intel x25

i believe formatting is not totally the best way to erase all data on a ssd ...is there any software out there that i can use..thanks

So by using this utility there is no problems with it ie damaging drive or deleting firmware...i know stupid question lol but just making sure.

A secure erase is perfectly safe to perform and will reset the SSD back to it's out of the box state.

what about the firmware ive updated it it will not reset that will it.

No it won't affect the firmware in any way as the controller chip is separate from the flash memory chips which you are erasing.

You can use the Intel SSD toolbox too
