Ive tested the PSU which is fine. So either Ryzen 3 3200g cpu or the
Gigabyte A320M-S2H board. 16 gb ddr4 ram is a third option.

No signs of life at all on switch on and there is no speaker to cause fault beeps. The PC was incredibly dusty which has probably the cause

Yes all the obvious stuff has been checked for. Apparently it just failed during the evening a few nights ago. I an trying to see if there is a sneaky way of dianosing cpu / board without beeps or another machine to swap parts. PSU IS FINE

Can lots of dust kill a machine like this? It was pretty severe

I've seen pretty dusty machines in my time, so you can probably rule that out.

I'd start by rebuilind it outside the case, with 1 stick of ddr. Are there any diagnostic LEDs? There might be something for a cpu/memory fail

Completely dead would be board or psu surely? If it was CPU or RAM the board would power up and it would fail during post.

When you say you’ve tested the psu have you checked all the voltages with a multimeter or just that it powers up?

Also unlikely to be power button if it failed while on.

Could still be the power button. Mine failed once and I couldn't work out what was wrong - ended up using the reset button for a substitute instead.

Was a cheap case, though
