As most know you can use MSI Afterburner to monitor your GPU in game.
But it does not monitor your CPU and Motherboard, i find such a thing useful as i'm sure others would, so here is how you do it.
First are instructions on how to get MSI Afterburner OSD up and running, you will need that that for this to work.
Download and install MSI Afterburner
Once installed click on the Settings button on the bottom right on the main window, on the General tab check the box for Start with Windows and Start Minimized.
Next click on the Monitoring Tab, To turn on all the in game monitoring you want click in the tick on the left hand side, then check box the (show in On-Screen Display) for each monitoring feature.
Click ok.
That will start the Monitoring software, which you will find in the system tray.
Next download HWinfo, Depending on what OS your running you need either HWinfo 32Bit or HWinfo 64Bit.
Install it and when prompted check box (Sensors only) and click on run.
Then right click on HWinfo in system tray and select configure.
Copy settings pictured.
Click ok.
Next double click on the HWinfo icon in the system tray.
(you must have MSI Afterburner and the MSI on screen display server running at all times for this)
You can use this to turn on or off things that you want to monitor by enabling or disabling highlighted sensors.
I have turned off what i'm not using just to save resources, other then that its not necessary to turn anything in here off.
Once your done click on the configure button.
Use that window to select what sensors you want to show up in your game overlay.
Where in says (Rivatuner OSD) in the left drop down box; use that to select which line to show the particular OSD reading, from 1, 2, 3.... if you select the same line for MotherBoard and CPU one of those will not show, if you select 3 different CPU readings they will all show but it will only label the first one.
Once you have done all that click close on the sensor display window, and on the sensor status window click on minimize all.
Next double click on the MSI On Screen Display Server icon in the system tray.
Click the big silver + and navigate to C/ Program files/ Hwinfo/ and double click on the HWINFO Aplication.
Then in Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Bundle\OSDServer\Profiles
Open HWiNFO64.EXE in Notepad. The strings i highlighted are usually set for =0, replace each one with =1 and close Notepad.
It will ask you if you want to save, click yes. it probably will not let you overwrite that file, you need to save to Desktop, delete the original file in the folder and then drag - drop the file you just saved into that folder.
Minimize the Rivatuner window and that's it, your done. What you should now see in game is something like pictured here, depending on what sensors you selected.
What i have set there is;
GPU monitoring first 3 lines:
GPU Temp, Usage, Clock
vRAM Speed
FPS
CPU and motherboard monitoring on the next 3 lines;
RAM usage
CPU Usage, CPU Temperature, CPU vCore
NB Temperature, Intake chassis fan speed.
You can change what you want to monitor in game simply by changing that in the sensor display config window.
If you want it to start with windows; find the HWiNFO.exe in the start menu folder, drag / drop the exe file in to the Start Up folder, also be sure you have "Display sensors on start up" checked in General user interface.
