how to install a BIOS update without windows installed

Hey guys I have recently purchased a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 motherboard and a intel i5 ivybridge 3400k, the bios is not updated so i need to update it, is there any ways of installing the update without windows installed?

The computer is stuck in a boot loop and I cant access any of the BIOS options or run from a USB.

I have tried all of that stulid, nothing works. No the mobo needs updating jeff, thats why it is stuck in the boot loop.

I wont be able to get hold of one. My brother has had the same problem, all he did was unplug the SSD and HDD and left it on in the boot loop for it to eventually recognize there is no SSD or HDD and he could then use the BIOS tools for some reason, I have tried this but it doesn't seem to be working.

Everything powers up, all fans and everything, the gigabyte touch bios screen loads and then it loops back on itself.

that wont help because i get a gigabyte touch bios appear on screen at boot, i cant use any of the functions and then it just boots itself again repeatedly.

well my brother has bought exactly the same setup, all he had to do was disconnect the HDD and SSD from the mobo and remove the power to them, then he left it in the boot loop and in around 5-10 minutes later an error message appeared saying that there was no HDD or SSD connected and the he clicked Ctrl, Alt + Del and he could use the bios freely and he managed to update the bios, for some reason when i try to do this i get no error message and i am constantly stuck in a boot loop.

Im just going to call a local pc company and ask how much it would cost for them to use a sandybridge processor to update the BIOS to the ivybridge version.

it comes up with "Gigabyte Touch BIOS" and then all of the usual options you would expect to see on boot.
