Please help, the instructions are not detailed, at all. I have a Noctua 120mm fan, as many people recommended it in the comments. I just cannot figure out how to install the fan.

I have looked everywhere but cannot find a video tutorial on Google or anything. Maybe I'm just dumb but it just doesn't seem to fit right.

Thanks,
- Saul.

ok its easiest to install the fan whilst you still have the motherboard out of the case... you should have two fan clips.. if you look at the top and the bottom of the heatsink you will see holes for the end of the clips to go into.. you slot them in here which can be a little fiddly... then place you anti-vibration strips on and pull the clips over the outside of the fan mounting.. this should hold it in place!

Best picture I have to hand of mine:

Thanks, that works. Just need to wait for my Graphics Card, Memory, Thermal Paste, and 3 power connector extenders to come D:

yes... it will fit into the 4pin connector but you will not beable to control the fan speed from the BIOS or speedfan (or something similar)... if you want to control the fan speed then plug it into one of the 3 pin chasis fans... you may find on boot that you get a warning message asking you to conect a fan (as you dont have it connected in the CPU fan slot)

On my rig as I have a number of delta's that need to be controlled when I am not prime95 testing the heatsink fan on the picy actually connects into one of the chasis 3pin slots.. I have a normal 3pin silent fan I dont mind running at 100% the whole time plugged into the CPU 4pin slot

What about if I get a 3 to 4-pin fan connector? I've already asked OC to add 3 things to my order already... lol.
