How to keep internet on when switching users?

Hi,

When im downloading my uncle goes on my computer and when he goes onto to his user account the internet stops on my end, so thats stops my downloads but then he gets internet.

How can I keep the internet from stopping my end yet leaving him with the internet at the same time?

Im using a router.

Hi, what router are you using? Have you checked in the router settings that the connection is set to 'ALways ON' and not 'when needed' or 'on demand'?
