Well the AIO did work fine for me with my last build but like I said I had AIO on GPU as well so it wasn't too much of an issue. With the air cooled GPU I now have it could cause issues.
The new cards have much hotter running ram. They hit 110c.
VRM is also hotter on newer motherboards which is why x570 require active cooling.
What case are you using? I find lian li are really great for airflow. NZXT I had was terrible even cheap Corsair was far better.
I might go AIO for aesthetics but they aren't worth it otherwise
I don't even think the hoses are long enough to reach the bottom, they'd certainly be stretched especially now there is a giant 3090FE in there now, the pipes wouldn't be able to get around it.
