How to make a gantt chart for a project - help

never done this before and have limited usage

I have to make a gantt chart for a project to do with a migration to AD as well as incorporating hardware moves etc etc

never done this before and looking for some useful pointers

anybody help

Microsoft Visio should sort you out if you can get hold of it.

can get access to both,

but its where do i start,

If you load up MS project you can input tasks their estimated time, resources allocated and start and end dates. It'll automatically put it in a gantt chart and then you can see the critical path for project completion etc. It's pretty easy to use.
