I sell my old stuff on ebay/mm/similar. Yes I'm not "making" money but lots of people seem to accrue a lot of old tat that could have prior been sold for some decent return! (eg old redundant tech/phones etc)

I just do clinical overtime shifts (I work as a manager in the NHS, but I'm also a paramedic), I've also got a contract with an agency to work in a different area to my main trust
