as above how do i overclock this cpu, its a 333fsb cpu,

i had a 333 sempron 2200 which to overclock i just upped to 200fsb which made it run fine and upto a 1.9ghz i think

but when i up the fsb by even 1 fsb it wont boot

so im lost.

Same way you clock any CPU, to be honest.

If it's not booting, then it may be any of the old favourites...

Not enough voltage...
Too much heat...
Beyond your CPU's capabilities.

You can control two of those factors; one of which with varying degrees (ahem) of success. The other is an unknown.

well i dunno about voltage, lol
all i know is my cpu running about 1.6v now. standard

too much heat i very much doubt, i know my pc is running hot now 53C but it should still last long enough to get to bios to check the temps, its just a plain black screen when i hit the power button.

might have a look out for a 3200xp as a last ditch socket a upgrade before i have to buy a new setup, does the 3200 overclock easily?

The XP3200 wasn't a great overclocker due to its 200mhz FSB.

It'll probably be just as cheap to buy an Intel E2140 and an Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA tbh. The higher-end Socket A chips go for crazy money these days. If you really want another Socket A chip then look out for an XP-M 2500+.
