How to play a video file on repeat continuously on slower playback in VLC player

Everytime i slow a video down in VLC player and try to run it continuously on repeat, the video returns back to normal speed on restart. Is there anyway to keep the video speed at the same rate throughout?
 
is this for 'beating off' purposes?

if so, Media Player Classic can do this, although when you close the player it resets to normal speed, but it will retain the reduced speed if say the clip ends and the repeats
