How to pm?

Didn't know where to ask this so I will ask here.

How the hell do you pm someone? Been trying to ask a forum member something about one of his very old threads that he will not see anymore but can't for the life of me find where the pm button is.....
 
Private messaging is disabled for all users except Admins, Dons & Underbosses. This is to prevent excess load on the server.

Permanent as far as I know. I've been on these forums for just over a year and never been able to send or receive a PM.

I started a very similar thread just the other day.

You use the TRUST button. I tested it out and it works.
You use your hotmail or what ever email you prefer.

Hope this helps.
 
As above, there is Trust (button next to quote/multi/quick) on every post. It sends an email to the poster. When/if they reply, you'll get it as a response in your own email.

Ah thanks guys. I have now used the said trust function and sent him a message. Will see if i get a response.

Thought I was being an idiot as all the other forums i'm on have had this feature. But I guess this way means OCUK get less mod work and more server space.
