What is the generally accepted way to point block paved edging ?
We have recently relaid our patio and extended it at the same time.
As well as putting a soldier course of 50mm block paving around the perimeter of our grass.
The block paving is 99% done and I will soon be needing to point it.
every site or person you talk to has a diferent opinion on this.
- dry sand
- dry sand/cement mix
- any old sand cement mix (although would this stain the surface of the blocks ?)
For what it's worth the patio is buff riven slabs with dark grey pointing.
The path is grey slabs with no gap between
