2inch is small but we have to cater for everyone you know, a good thumb poke will get you to the right diameter but not too much.

Trick is to start small, make it too big and it don't work. ;)

Maybe 3 to 4inch if your spoon is a little stiff, but you have to keep it tight.

As it warms up the skin of the melon becomes more viscous and the hole gets bigger.

But at the same time, its allowing deeper penetration but maintaining a tighter grip as you reach the inside. :D

Once inside, take a large scoop of ice cream and fill the melon, you will find it delicious. :p

I think the group of you need to get some medical assessment rather quickly. I'm going with heatstroke or possibly exhaustion.
 
Make a trebuchet and use the melon as the projectile. You can preserve the splat on film for future memories. :p
 


You in a few weeks once your Mellon is rotting away.

On a side note that was seriously the single most devastating scene of any film ever.... the connection between man and Wilson :(

preserve generally means want it displayable, also freezer space

ahh my bad dint realise hed already forzen it.
