Hey;

Just a quick on as my knowledge on the subject is low. For the first time in a while, I googled myself - nothing out of the ordinary; as I keep a pretty quiet online life - but under images I found a few pictures and I'm not quite sure how they got there. There was around 4 pictures from my Instagram (not actually of me), which considering is private I'm not sure how they got there - and one from a Instagram; that is being used on some blog I've never heard of

Is it possible to have these taken down from google images etc?

It's those pictures of you, the alsatian and the peanut butter again isn't it?!

I like how my phone tried to change alsatian to Albanian... That would have been a whole different story...

Just keep downloading the images until Google's cache is empty. Then take care not to upload them again. This always works for me.*

:)

* disclaimer: it has never worked for me, and will not work for you.

Well for the blog post the simple solution is send them a polite email asking them to remove it, citing your ownership and copyright of the image. If they don't then it depends on where the blog is based, if it's the UK then a stronger email followed by a bill for its usage (or take down etc.). If they still don't then a small claims court will be the best option. If it's out of the country then it's a lot more difficult...

I haven't googled myself in a while but just did

page 1 on search results comes up with a private video of mine I shared with ONLY my family circle. Seems the entire world can watch it.

Checked settings and clearly shows only shared with family

Removed!

Do those four pictures include a woman you don't want another woman to see? :)

Haha, surprisingly no! I was expecting to see something of the like, but they just appeared to be pictures of sunsets or the beach haha, and one of my ugly mug!

Yeah, this is a similar thing, which is why I found it weird! Was it shared on Facebook? How did you remove, just from Facebook?
