How to safely remove super glue from my phone

Queen Wasp venom?

Though at this time of year they will still be tucked up in their lair planning their best way to exterminate mankind.

Other than that, WD40 is worth a shot as it cheap and a reasonable solvent.

I've scraped some of the glue off and the home button is working
as well as before.
Think I might apply a thick layer of glue now and paint it black
so that the button is raised up again.

Seriously? Glue?

For the future a tiny dab of bathroom silicone sealant will hold most things as well as glue but peels off without leaving damage. Even so it's not worth the risk on a phone????

I find that using a 4 pound hammer works perfectly with stubborn buttons that are sticking.
Or I use a small sharp chisel to carefully 'chip' the offending super glue away.
