Hello All,

I am currently a Dashlane user who is looking to migrate to LastPass, however, I have concerns about how to do this securely.

I understand I can export a .csv from Dashlane and then import this to LastPass, my concern is, does that not put my entire password data at risk by exporting it to a unsecured/unencrypted .csv?

I assume the .CSV is required to not be encrypted in order to be imported, so is there risk associated with this process? And if so how can I minimise the risk and ensure the data is kept secure?

Thank you

Delete the csv when you are finished with it.

Before you export the file, do a manual malware scan. When you export the file, save it directly to a USB stick. Then import from the USB stick to Lastpass.
