I see people pics up of games and it has the fps and it shows gpu and the mhz in purple writing what programme is that?

Just to put into a little more detail

Fraps is the program were you will see the small yellow fps in the corner of the screens. But can also record your games if wanted ( performance hit hell )

Msi after burner is the purple on screen display. That's very tweekable to how you want it, And is also a great overclocking tool for gpus.

You can also use RadeonPro which does the same job as the above mentioned programs and also has a few extra tricks up its sleeve, assuming you are using an AMD gpu.

I assume their is a similar program for nvidia.

Afterburner in conjunction with HWinfo64.

Configure HWinfo to show whatever you want.
