How to sell unused mobile phones

Although no-one really asked, there's money to be made recycling old phones for their Niobium and Tantalum components, which is good because it (slightly) reduces the reliance on the Coltan-mines which are located in the Congo. :)

That's what i need. have you tried any?

ey?

The mobile phone recycling companies don't actually recycle your old phone, they send it off to 3rd world countries.

Not strictly true.

If the phone has a value then obviously we sell them on (and not only to 3rd world countries, but to any market that benefits from the costs of refurbished handsets). If the phone is a "zero value" phone, or one which is worth more as constituent components, then it's typically recycled (by an external company).

I am not a spammer. I really want to do benefits out of my old mobiles. I really searched for many sites and compared prices. One of the post in this thread made me to search for online recycling sites like envirophone, exchange mobile, compare mobile phone recycling and many more. I found this site as reliable one for me and it may help others also to use. I really thank all guys who realized me a lot on usage of older ones.

Hmm I also think it's very clever spam lol. The way he listed his competitors, looks like he wants it to get indexed by Google or something.

Could be totally wrong lol.

Regardless, recycle seems the way to go. O2 have a good scheme - they gave me £114 for my desire which is probably more then I could get for it on the bay/forums with a lot less hassle (as its pretty scratched). plus i get to keep my usb charger and cables too use with my sgs2 (given that samsung never provided one :()
