Hey there

So I can finally install my cooler. I was wondering how to install it on the arc midi case. I read that the best way is to put it on the top, with air going through the radiator from the inside of the case to the outside

But I am wondering, it's odd because you send hot air through the radiator, isn't that less efficient than taking fresh air from the outside to the inside ?

Thanks !

Yes it is. I assume you have other components in case that need cool air.. like GPU. That's why I always try to remove hot air from case and bring cool air into case.

Unless you want to do some modding, thats really the only "easy" spot

Install fans in the front and get some kinda airflow going, at least the air won't have too much time to heat up

I have the front and back fans bringing cool air in, and the H100 exhuasting the air out the top through the radiator.

Temps on my 2600k at 4.5ghz are 32c idle and 60-63 under load with the fans on the case and H100 on their lowest setting.

I've got this case and cooler.

I have the H100 at the top of the case pulling cool air in. I've also removed the upper hard drive cage to have the front intake blowing directly towards my GPU and the rear fan set to exhaust.

This gives me max temps of circa 54 degrees when gaming (with the H100 on the middle setting.

Hope this helps.
