How to setup a limited company

Hello

I have been offered some IT contacting work
but i have to set up my own limited company as i have to send the a invoice for work carried out, but here is the problem.
I dont know what i am doing!!!!

does anyone here have experience in this type of thing?
also is there some software i can use to help me work everything out including TAX etc?

use an umbrella company , much easier.

Find a local accountant and get them to do it, i wouldnt do it yourself. I would do a self employed yourself as its not too bad but Ltd Company needs quite a bit more work, we pay around £600 a year for the Ltd accounts etc and then around 150-200 extra per year for other things that need looking at.
