Just had my rear view mirror come away in my hands and now it wont stick back on to the window again. I was going to super glue it but thought I would ask in here first for the proper way :)

If the pad doesnt work, theres a proper product we sell. Its basically a proper glue and mesh, I think its called 'mirror bond'.

happened to mine last week, bought new sticky pad and the heat doesnt like it atall!

if i stick it on and pull like **** it will just about come off, but leave the car outside in the weather like it has been today, it just falls off.

anyone know of something stronger than these poxy pads ?

sorry to butt in !

That stuff is quality, my GF's came off her Fiesta a couple of years ago. We tried the sticky pads and they were just pants, came off after an hour or so. The mirror bond with the mesh and glue worked a treat and is rock solid to this day.

Alternatively, when my dads came off he popped round the corner to the local windscreen/autoglass type place and they stuck it back on for him - all at the cost of about £2!

Yeah, it works great provided you do correctly, we get loads of people coming back saying it didnt work because they didnt clean the screen/apply the glue/mesh properly.

the little sticky pads form a motorfactors do work fine. you need to get the window / pad HOT before you stick it. I used a har dryer on mine a few years ago and the mirror is still there.
