Everytime I use a lid down bottle of sauce, get an amount sticking to the top. When finishing the bottle, get a knife and scrape the contents out.

It would be nice for all the sauce to come out from squeezing the bottle.

I raise your squeezy sauce issue and would like to highlight the struggle to get the last of the marmite from the jar, such a frustratingly shaped container.

I use the last bits of Marmite as a stock. Pour hot water into jar about a quarter full, place lid. Over a sink shake the jar. Great for beef dishes and gravy.

I do the same with the last of the Nutella in a jar. Except with hot milk, and to make hot chocolate, not gravy.
It does need a bit of sugar and chocolate powder too, to get the taste right. And yes, I'm aware that means I've basically already included all the ingredients for a hot chocolate anyway. :D
But it makes a particularly nice Nutella flavoured one.

What brand are you using?

I buy Heinz tomato ketchup not because of the actual contents but the lids of the Tescos ones are crap and it makes a mess or they break.

Anything but Heinz. Product in question I was writing about is the Nando’s Perinase which the shape of the bottle is awkward.

Going back to the original question, I use the power of centrifugal force to get at least some of the last dregs out.
