How to store a CPU?

Random as hell question but I need to take my CPU out my motherboard, what can I store this in so it doesn't collect dust? Does it need to be anything special or can I just put it in a Tupperware thing or something?

Thanks

Some sort of anti-static bag or container would be good. Ideally, you've kept the packaging the CPU came in, and the little lid that goes in the motherboard socket to keep the dust out of that and the pins safe.

In a glass of water next to your bed.
Sweet, can it be fizzy water?
Small cardboard box with an anti static bag & some bubble wrap should do the trick. :)

Didn't keep the socket or the packaging, might have a check on ebay if not I think I'll have to use the anti static and box way.

Thanks :)

I've bought a few used CPUs from the bay, and they've all come wrapped in bubblewrap and, sometimes, further wrapped in corrugated card. It's certainly not the recommended way of doing it (static), but I've never had a DOA.
