How to test new build?

Right I've just put together my new I7 pc and I'm pretty new to windows.
I've installed win7 ok but want to test all the components and make sure its all running properly. Can you guys let me know what I can use to double check everything.

Probably best to do some sort of stress test for 24 hours. I'll let others explain this more.

Well you can download 3mark which will give you a score to compare against similar systems.

Prime95 will test your CPU, and give you a result which you can compare.

Can use memtest to check your ram.

And Orthos to really stress your CPU to see if its stable.

OCCT v3.1.0 is also a good system stress tester
