How to unjumble keyboard keys?

Hi all,

Basically, my keyboard keys are a bit jumbled up. When I press SHIFT+3, # should come up, but in fact, £ comes. The # button comes when I press the button near the enter. Same for the ~ button, which is not in the correct position, and many other keys. Anybody know how to 'unjumble' them and make them that the correct character comes when I type?

seems the layout of your keyboard is different to mine, it may be the american layout

Basically as above you must have the wrong keyboard language input selected

You have probably got your keyboard layout set to English (U.K.)

Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Change keyboards or other input methods > Change keyboards...

Then select your desired language from the drop down list.

Hmm. Seems to have done the trick. Quick question. On the 5 I have the % sign and the Euro one, how do i do euro?

Guys, I still got a small problem.

Whenever I press " it doesn't come immediately, it waits for the next character and if its some special character, it does some weird letters like Ï, é, ó, â

and all this stuff.

Any way to remove it?

Its normal for Ctrl + Alt to do íóá etc. Have you got no Function key?

nah, its what it normally does, and its annoying. Not a function key, so lets say I want to quote someone
