How to update my F4 firmware?

How do I make a bootable CD-RW with this on it? Serious question because making bootable media is the only thing I ever struggle with having to do on the PC, and I dont know how to do this.

I only just got around to doing this. I unplugged all my other drives and updated the F4s one at a time, and got the following messages:

Firmware version: 1AQ10001

Now updating code.....

Please wait for a while

Download completed successfully

(Serial Number)

However I forgot that they were still in Raid mode (unraided F4s, raid mode for the unplugged F3s). Are they correctly updated or do I have to do them again in IDE mode?

How can I check their current firmware version?
