How to use equalizer to get more treble?

I have just got the Logitech X-230 (2.1). I feel the bass overpowers the vocals in music a little bit and so would like to change this. I think using software equaliser is the way to go?

Can anyone direct me on what to slide?

left -> right = low -> high, so just experiment with moving some of the higher freqs up a bit or lower ones down. Don't really know a lot myself about frequency ranges but always found best way is to experiment til you find something you like across a range of sound outputs
