Hi , i noticed on the case mod photos and desktop set-ups that some peole have 2-3 moniters running at once how can this be done ?? does it need to graphix cards or something also not just the 2-3 moniters doing the one thing they have seperate things on each moniter how can this be down ???

no, graphics cards tend to have 2 dvi/vga slots at the back

u have to download this piece of software i forget it's name, and you need more than just one gpu for 3 monitors. or one gpu and a triple head2go or summit.

I guess for a 2 monitor setup you need 1 gfx card but for a 3 monitor setup you would need 2 gfx cards.

I based this on the fact that each gfx card has 2 slots.

Not 100% sure though.

Dual monitor setup can also be done with a usb vga adaptor and a single gfx card if your gfx card has only one input.

You do not need any extra software for 2 monitors, generally most cards have 2 inputs, so just connect two up and enable the 2nd screen through windows.

Though most people use UltraMon which allows you to have a taskbar on the 2nd screen amongst other things. I am one such person...

Yes, it's easy. Just plug in the 2nd monitor & for an ati card check 'extend my desktop onto this monitor' under properties. For an NVidia card, enable 'dual view' mode.
