Can anyone explain how to get a similar effect to this photo:

I like the style and was wondering how you get the same summery brown film effect.

Looks like a really warm white balance and shoot into the light to induce a flare. You might also want to reduce the saturation a little.

Looks like post processing to me.
Would probably be an action, (you can download actions that do this, cant name this one off hand, but type in summer action, there are a lot that do a similar job)
Alternaitvely, fiddle with the curves, put a soft light layer over the top and add a color layer with a dropped opacity.
