Mindriot said:Well i can run it on my laptop (!)
Specs:
1.8GHz AMD turion
1 gig ram
ATI mobility x700 128mb
It runs on the very lowest settings at 800x600, and slows down rapidly when any fighting happens (not enough to put me off playing though).
Even during my processors annoying habit of dropping the cpu speed to dissipate more heat, its still fairly good.
I'm used to playing games at only just playable frame rates, i'm never able to have the latest hardware, but the bottom line is...
I CAN STILL PLAY IT!
dude, we've only just started getting the x1xxx range of ATI and the 7xxx range of Nvidia cards arn't that old.squiffy said:Personally I would wait until next gen cards, probably improve current hardware slowdowns with Oblivion. Probably the next cards will do 70fps in highest rez, highest detail, 8X AA, 16X AF, HDR etc etc.

Hector said:there was a thread last week, which i can't find atm that seemed to show that the CPU was holding things back.
